AlpineRace Team Finland
Training Overview
We offer coaching for ambitious junior and Master skiers. The main focus of training is Slalom (SL). This page briefly introduces the training programs and camps we offer.
AlpineRace Team Finland (Main Program: U14–FIS)
This alternative athlete pathway is our main program, designed for committed young skiers (U14–U16 and first-year FIS athletes) aiming to develop into elite-level SL athletes. We focus on quality over repetitions in a small group (max 12 athletes).
- Core of Coaching: Coaching is based on a long-term development pathway. The athletes’ progress is always evaluated based on objective progression standards, not by comparison to other skiers.
- Coaching Focus: Emphasis on Slalom, i.e., SL (SLALOM).
- Training Scope: The program offers a structured, year-round pathway, which includes approximately 110 full snow training days.
- Cost-Effectiveness: The program is built upon financially sound solutions.
Our annual program is a viable alternative for those typically in the so-called "elite youth teams" (ysi-tiimiläiset).

Master Coaching
For Master skiers, we offer the opportunity to maintain and develop their slalom skills through separate camps.
- Operating Model: Coaching is more occasional and takes place during separate camps, which are paid for with a single fee.
Equipment Benefits: Master skiers are also offered excellent equipment benefits through our Rossignol partnership.
U12 Indoor Summer Camps (Summer Training)
During the summer months, we organize active indoor training for young skiers.
- Target Group: U12–U14-year-olds who want to actively develop during the summer.
Goal: The camps enable active snow training when their home club is on summer break.
